DEFEND THE CITY

When I was a kid this scene from Disney’s Fantasia scared the crap out of me.  The scene, set to Mussorgsky’s Night on Bald Mountain, depicts the nocturnal slavic deity, Chernabog, summoning tiny demons and restless souls from graves at a nearby cemetery… (insert shudder here).  Bill Tytla was the artist for this segment of the film and is one of the original Disney animators.
