Be careful when walking outside in the early morning hours.  There is an unidentified monster on the loose. Stay away from areas at the edge of the cities boarder.  If you are approached by this creature run away immediately.  Do not stand and stare… like this guy.

THE DEPARTMENT OF MONSTER MANAGEMENT

A Zlurp, named after the strange burp-like sound the creature makes when it attacks, is a dangerous and ever-present annoyance to Heart City.  The Zlurp stands at over 167 feet tall and weighs over 50,000 lbs.  It feeds mostly on scrap metal, which explains it’s treacherous and all but deadly breath.  Do not be fooled by the dumb smile that constantly stretches across the Zlurp’s face.  It is mean, and uses it’s incredible burping power to break windows, shift electrical towers, and even destroy buildings.  It’s main purpose for attacking the Heart Tower is to consume the structure.  The Zlurp finds radioactive metal to taste particularly delightful.

The Splug is a slow, spiny creature that aids in the protection of Heart City.  Splug is huge, easily 30 feet or more in length.  His giant spikes ward off his enemies and are also used to attract a mate.  The bigger the spikes, the better the Splug.  Each morning before the sun rises the Splug proceeds to coat the area directly surrounding Heart Tower with a thick green slime that he secretes.  This slime makes the ground on which it is placed incredibly sticky, often catching those who attempt to take over Heart Tower at its base.
