Glumps Are Not Slumps- They Move

If you find yourself outside Heart City, you may come across a Glump wandering the countryside. Politely wave and say hi, they are friendly and non-dangerous.  Don’t expect too much interaction from a Glump, though.  The are generally gloomy in disposition and move slowly.

Glumps

And, be careful not to offend a Glump by confusing them with a Slump.

PSA: Fire Power!

A fire broke out at the north end of Heart City around dusk last night.  After representatives from the Emergency Response Team and the Ministry of Heart responded around 8:15 PM it was determined that the resident had a Rubber Bunny infestation, and thought that smoking them out would be the best option.  Please remember, Rubber Bunnies hate water, not fire.

THE DEPARTMENT OF MONSTER MANAGEMENT

Wanna Bunny

The Wanna Bunny may look like a bunny but it is nothing of the sort.  This creature, of the slug family, is trying to trick you.  The Wanna Bunny is so named for it’s phantom rabbit ears that seem to appear and disappear at will.  This is done for survival as the wanna bunny has many enemies that wish to eat it.

Slumps Are Like Bumps, But Mushy

Slumps

Wandering outside of Heart City, you may come across a slump.  A slump looks like a bump, but when you sit on it, it feels squishy.  Oh, and it might moan.  Slumps are harmless, but it is considered rude to sit on a slump without giving it a friendly scratch or pat on the back.  You’ll find them near swamps and grasslands.

The Bunny Bush

On your next picnic in the countryside surrounding Heart City, check out the Bunny Bush.  You’ll find this vegetation where the grasslands meet the forests.  They are usually about eight feet tall and their leaves look like rabbit ears.  They are harmless and not worth eating.  No one knows for sure why the Bunny Bush leaves look like rabbit ears, but some say these plants can whisper to each other over the wind.

Doo-Goo Snake

The Doo-Goo Snake is a large serpentine creature that likes to wade in the waters of Heart Cities river.  At first glance a Doo-Goo Snake looks mean, intimidating, and downright vicious.  In fact, they are quite lovely creatures and make great pets.  The Doo-Goo Snake is especially handy around the house.  They can even assist in ridding your home of Rubber Bunnies, as the Doo-Goo Snake is the ever present vermin’s natural enemy.

Respect the Hoofaroo

Hoofaroo

Hoofaroos are common in the forests and fields that surround Heart City.  They are not particularly dangerous, but be aware that they do kick and jump on top of things such as vehicles, houses and pets.  Treat them with respect and you will most likely never end up getting kicked squarely in the chest.

RUBBER BUNNY MOCK UP

The world that Heart City exists is both beautiful and hostile.  One of the creatures that has made its way into city life is called a Rubber Bunny.  According to the MINISTRY OF HEART:

Rubber Bunnies are everywhere, and are generally considered a nuisance in Heart City. They are small, no larger then a domesticated cat, and have very sharp teeth. They travel in packs of 20 or more, and can often be seen bouncing in and out of alleyways in the early part of the morning. They detest the smell of anything green or natural, and tend to favor living in garbage bins, piles of cardboard, or whatever else has been cast aside. Rubber Bunny colonies can be found all over Heart City, particularly near the Crystal Artery because of the constant heat that the cavern emanates. They hate water, flowers, and small children.

We’ve created this mock-up of a Rubber Bunny to help you spot them.

They are not vegetarian! Beware of them and watch out for the safety of your pets! There are many missing fingers and toes in Heart City as well as peg-legged pets.  You may be able to kick one or two away, but packs of twenty have been known to take down grown men and livestock.

Be careful out there!
