HEART CITY is under attack! It holds the key to the entire planet’s energy, and its citizens have vowed to defend it from those who seek to destroy or control it!
The Planet’s Energy Source
Heart City sits upon a crystal lined cavern that goes deep into the Earth’s crust. It is known as The Crystal Artery. This cavern mysteriously emanates energy which now powers the entire planet. The energy is not without its side effects. Once this energy was tapped, Earth and all its inhabitants were forever altered and now the planet is a very different place.
Many explorers have tried to find the The Crystal Artery’s energy source, but none have succeeded. One team known as the The Triad Explorers used thermal shielding to reach a depth of 11 miles before seismic instability turned them back.
The Defenders of Heart City have learned to harness and redistribute the energy from The Crystal Artery. They built a special processing plant known as the Heart Tower. The Defenders also fear that The Artery is unstable and that if not carefully guarded it could rip open destroying the entire planet.

The capitol building of Heart City is the Heart Tower. It sits atop the energy processing plant that gathers energy from The Crystal Artery. Heart Tower emits the energy gathered from The Artery and distributes it to neighboring cities which in turn distribute it to their citizens. Gaining control of Heart Tower means gaining control of all the energy on the planet.
The Attackers
Many are trying to take over Heart City to gain control of The Crystal Artery and Heart Tower. They want to exploit its energy and use it for their own plans. The attackers are driven by greed and are willing to risk total world annihilation for the chance at global dominance.
Heart Canons
The city is protected by a large array of ancient artillery canons. They have guarded Heart City for centuries. They fire energy blasts gathered from Heart Tower. They are the first and last line of defense for the city.
The Ministry of Heart
The Ministry of Heart is Heart City’s answer to the growing number of assaults. It organizes the Defenders and provides citizens with information about how they can help prevent the destruction of Heart City. They release as much information as they can through public service announcements, posters, signs, t-shirts and anything they feel is valuable in getting the word out. This is their website.

Of all the citizens that have vowed to protect Heart City, The Defenders are the elitist group. They possess the knowledge and special powers to lead the fight against those who try to destroy Heart City. They have only one mantra… DEFEND THE CITY!!!
